This is probably the most detailed thing that I have ever made on SolidWorks. My friend and I had to make a complicated object for the third week of our Mechanical Engineering Field Session, so we chose to make a trumpet on SolidWorks that was as close to the actual size as possible. I made the bell, the mouthpiece, the valve casing, and all of the valves, while my partner made the tuning slides. The dimensions of this model are actually very close to the actual dimensions.

All in all, I think this is my favorite creation on SolidWorks, but I'm looking forward to seeing what else I can make.

The program used to make this was SolidWorks 2009.

I guess one just has to push their boundaries to see what they're capable of.
