Killer Bee's Swords by JoeCoool Killer Bee's Swords by JoeCoool
Got another one up tonight. Go figure.
So yea, after posting Zabuza's Sword, I got a request from :iconsupernarusakufanatic: to make Killer Bee's swords. So I did. Total time taken to make this was about an hour or so. I used Naruto 411-12 as a reference for the swords' dimensions.

As far as swords go, the weapon itself was a fairly simple design. What took me so long was experimenting with different lengths and styles to make something close to the actual thing. This is what I ended up with. Hope you all like it!

EDIT: Whoops... Wrong color... Grip is now red and the end of the handle is now gold.

The program used to create this was SolidWorks 2008.

If you like it, please :+fav: and comment. Makes me want to make more.

Great job on the swords! It sure is a pain to try to get the dimensions from the manga. Could you help me out? I am making the swords out of wood for a cosplay but I don;t have a dimension yet. Can you tell me how long the swords were and the length of the handle.

Ok, here are the dimensions I have:

The gold handle embellishment is 2.00" down the blade, 2.25" across, and 1.25" deep.
The handle is 12.00" long.
I made the blade 30.00" long, but if you'd like, 24.00" would probably work just fine.

Hope this helps!

Way to go on those swords!

I am making my own out of wood. Would you mind tell me the dimensions that you used? If its too difficult to describe could you tell me the length of the sword and the length of the handle. This would help tons.

I'll have to bring up my computer with SolidWorks on it and double check the dimensions, but honestly, I just looked at a picture of Killer Bee from the manga and estimated the dimensions. As a general rule of thumb when estimating weapon dimensions, I compare the length the weapon to the height of the character (which can be found on a website such as [link] , but unfortunately, Killer Bee's height is not listed).
I'll try to get those dimensions for you tomorrow, but be advised that the dimensions I chose for any of my fan weapons are pure speculation and are not official dimensions.

Using the height of the character is a great idea and I think I found his height!

It took some work to figure it out but I compared KB's height to that of Kisame's. I did this because they are basically the same height as seen in this manga image ([link]).

It turns out that Kisame is 6'3" and so I will be using this height to estimate the lengths of the swords. This is proving hard work though.

What do you think of my work so far?

Way to go on the swords! It appears to me that KB's had long and short swords. Did you notice this as well and incorporate it into your model?

I'm crafting my own KB's swords out of wood. Would you please save me hours of research and give me an idea of dimensions of the swords?

From the pictures I've seen, all seven of his swords are identical. Some angles appear otherwise due to the slant of the swords, but by determining the angle of the sword on the picture, you can tell what it's supposed to be.

Doesn't Killer-Bee have eight swords?? Anyway, you should try and make Samehada, y'know: Kisame's Sword... That'd be cool!! =D

He carries 7 swords and considers his Horns (When in the form of Jinchuriki eight-tails) to be his 8th sword.
